How does the tracking work?
With a bit of math, we can tell your tracker exactly where the sun will be in relation to your home on any given moment of any day, any month, for the next ten thousand years.

What about snow?
What happens during a storm?
During high winds, your tracker will stow itself flat like a table, allowing wind to mostly bypass its surface. After the storm passes, your tracker will resume its normal motion.

It’s only when a solar panel is facing directly at the sun that it captures maximum energy. When the sun hits a solar panel at an angle, like on a roof, you miss out on a lot of power.
