According to a December 2007 report from Emerging Energy Research:
"At one end of the value chain are technology promoters - including: Solel, Solar Millennium, Abengoa Solar, Ausra, BrightSource, SkyFuel, and Stirling Energy - looking to leverage their specialized technology - At the opposite end are those IPPs and utilities that are now investing in CSP... [including] owners of wind power plants - globally emerging as significant players in CSP..."
Solaflect's enabling technology positions it well to benefit at every link in the value chain - supplying, licensing, partnering, and providing energy. However, its initial focus will be the vast untapped market for co-located onsite thermal energy - offering the compelling economics of lower energy costs and rapid implementation for the over 21,000 industrial users who are largely unserved by solar, in areas rich in solar resources.
